Pumpkin: The Queen of Autumn
Pumpkin is not just a vegetable. It is a seasonal symbol. Its colour, its aroma, the way it transforms every recipe — all carry that quiet magic of autumn.
A little childhood memory
Most of us remember pumpkin pies baked by our grandmothers or a pumpkin decorating the house. Without realising it, pumpkin was already part of our culture — simply in a more humble, local way.
Today, pumpkin is everywhere: in risottos, vegan lattes, warm breakfasts. It brings light into November.
What I love making with pumpkin
- velouté soup with cinnamon
- roasted pumpkin with garlic and thyme
- homemade pumpkin spice latte
- little muffins for my son
- and, once a year, a beautiful pumpkin pie
Every time I cut a pumpkin, it feels like a tiny seasonal ritual.
The vegetable that brings warmth
Pumpkin instantly creates that cozy atmosphere at home — in the kitchen, on the table, in the air. It truly is the “queen” of autumn because it has personality. It’s not just an ingredient. It’s a mood.
