Why I Created My Children’s Ebook in Two Languages
Some decisions don’t start with strategy.
They start with real life.
When I wrote my first children’s story, I knew I wanted it to be a calm and human experience — a story meant to be read together, to open conversations, to give space for a child to feel and reflect.
And somewhere along the way, the idea came naturally: to let it exist in two languages.
Because language is a bridge
Language is more than words. It’s connection. Rhythm. Sound. Emotion. When a child hears or reads a story in a second language, they’re not “studying.” They’re opening a small window to the world.
For families living between two worlds
There are families who speak more than one language at home. Children growing up with mixed cultures. Parents who want to keep their native language alive while living abroad. Others who wish to introduce English naturally, gently, without pressure.
For these families, a story available in two languages becomes something deeply practical — and deeply meaningful.
Because it’s not “extra screen time” — it’s shared reading
A children’s ebook, when designed with care and calm, doesn’t function as a passive screen. It functions as a book that simply fits more easily into travel, everyday routines, and modern family life.
And when it’s part of shared reading, language — whatever language it may be — becomes a moment of connection.
Two languages, one story
What mattered most to me was preserving the same feeling: the same respect for the child, the same rhythm, the same warmth. I didn’t want “two different versions.” I wanted the same story to reach more families.
At Zenia’s Vegan Life Creative Studio
At the Creative Studio, I see creation as a slow living experience: making things with intention, without noise, without pressure — simply offering something meaningful.
That’s why my children’s ebook in two languages isn’t “just another product.”
It’s a gentle invitation to sit together, read, and talk — wherever you may be.
